More than 3 months later, I stumble upon this place and agree that it's a silly idea for a community.

And not because there's a community for it.

But what makes you think that Clay being gay is bad, or that people want him to be gay because they hate him? Sheesh.

This is just plainly the silliest idea for a community ever.

Maybe he's straight, maybe he's gay, does it really make that much of a difference to you that you need an entire community devoted to it?

I'm not trying to troll, I'm just honestly interested why it makes so much of a difference to you.

i just watched the interview on Ryan Seacrest (i donwloaded it off airplaycentral.com) and he said some things that confirmed my thoughts as to him not being gay.
i mean, i already knew this, but even he said so himself that it's become harder for him to meet someone, because he wants them to like him for him and not because he's a celebrity or rich. he's become very wary of that, hence why he spends more time with men than women. cos he knows the men aren't trying to get into his pants cos he's Clay!

hey hey! i saw this in insanekht's info page and i had to check it out.

with the whole SNL thing, some people have said it was Clay's unofficial "coming out" and i think that is wrong! they fail to remember that the skit was all Broadway style, and how they would also critique him and say he should be singing on broadway than on pop albums. did they think that maybe he was poking fun at that by being in the skit? no!

i honestly believe that Clay is not gay.
he's a bit effeminate, but the boy can't help it, he's a mama's boy. and i see nothing wrong with that, he's very respectful andmindful of his manners, cos it seems that at the end of the day, he would hate to disappoint his mom, and himself with any questionable behavior.
not to mention that he is a christian, and he was studying to become a teacher. i find his attitude very admirable, because he is definitely someone that kids can really look up to and model after. he has a clean image, and as i have said before, i admire him for keeping his integrity as a person and not resorting to sex to make himself more marketable.
Britney used to have a clean image, but they made her sexier to sell more records and her image. that's kinda sad.

but Clay is different, he has so much appeal that transcends sex that you don't need him to be sexy to turn you on. if that makes any sense!

anyway, go Clay! Clay Forever!

and those are my two cents. ciao!

(but he still satisifies "the woman in me" if you know what i mean!)

Keep in mind that not all people that think Clay is gay are haters. Some people are actually big fans, but think he is gay. Now, if they were big fans, and they research Clay a lot, how come they haven't seen all the evidence of him NOT being gay? He is just clean, not gay! I think a whole lot of people are confusing Clay's dorkiness with gayness. Dude, he's just not gay!! I don't see why they don't get it.

Clay is not gay! I completely agree with you!! My friend wants me to write "Clay is straight. The only only proof you need is listening to Touch about three times!" Well, my proof is just the way he acts around men and women. If a man (like Leno on Jan. 22, 2004) tries to hug him, he doesn't hug him all the way to his body. He even pulls away if Jay Leno or some other guy tries to hug him more. But when he hugs women, he wraps his arms around them and presses them to his body. Like any straight man. He said he had girlfriends when he was in highschool. He LIVES with Kim Locke. He has kissed her many times, in a more-than-friends way. I just don't get it.
