hey hey! i saw this in insanekht
's info page and i had to check it out.
with the whole SNL thing, some people have said it was Clay's unofficial "coming out" and i think that is wrong! they fail to remember that the skit was all Broadway style, and how they would also critique him and say he should be singing on broadway than on pop albums. did they think that maybe he was poking fun at that by being in the skit? no!
i honestly believe that Clay is not gay.
he's a bit effeminate, but the boy can't help it, he's a mama's boy. and i see nothing wrong with that, he's very respectful andmindful of his manners, cos it seems that at the end of the day, he would hate to disappoint his mom, and himself with any questionable behavior.
not to mention that he is a christian, and he was studying to become a teacher. i find his attitude very admirable, because he is definitely someone that kids can really look up to and model after. he has a clean image, and as i have said before, i admire him for keeping his integrity as a person and not resorting to sex to make himself more marketable.
Britney used to have a clean image, but they made her sexier to sell more records and her image. that's kinda sad.
but Clay is different, he has so much appeal that transcends sex that you don't need him to be sexy to turn you on. if that makes any sense!
anyway, go Clay! Clay Forever!
and those are my two cents. ciao!
(but he still satisifies "the woman in me" if you know what i mean!)
